Walk into every consultation knowing what to ask, and what a good answer sounds like

Choosing a clinic can feel like a second job. You're researching around your working day, often alone and late at night, drowning in success rates and price lists without knowing what to look for.

Let's start with the data, and work from there.

Tell Solo Fertility 40s about your situation and we'll check the clinics you're considering. Every check is built around two questions most clinic research skips: how a clinic treats women over 40, and how it treats women going through treatment solo. You'll get:

  • How each clinic treats women over 40: its success rates for your age from the UK regulator, and whether there's real evidence of experience with women like you
  • How each clinic treats solo women: whether its website and paperwork are written for you, or for a couple
  • The evidence laid out clearly, so you can see where to invest
  • The questions to ask at each consultation, and what a good answer sounds like
  • The confidence to decide, alongside someone who has been where you are

You're solo – but not alone.

Why not just read clinic websites?

A clinic's website is marketing. Clinics tend to publish whichever figure flatters them most, often a success rate for all ages, or a measure that doesn't apply to a woman over 40.

The clinics at the top of a Google search aren't necessarily the right ones either. Many top results are paid ads, and ranking highly reflects how much a clinic invests in marketing, not how well it treats women like you.

Solo Fertility 40s starts with the regulator's data, and works from there.

Help me find clinics

For when you're at the beginning. A list of UK clinics that fit your age, your eggs, your budget and how far you'll travel, with each clinic's success rates for women your age from the HFEA, the UK's fertility regulator.

Check the clinics I have in mind

Up to 3 UK clinics checked in full. For each one you get:

  • the questions to ask at your consultation, with what a good answer sounds like
  • its success rates for women your age
  • how it treats women over 40, and whether it sees solo patients at all
  • how it makes its money, and the evidence behind any add-ons it offers
  • red flags, graded by how serious they are

Plus a side-by-side comparison of all three.

Worth knowing: a first consultation at a London clinic costs £200–£260, or up to £390 with a scan and blood test included (prices checked October 2026). A tight list of the clinics that suit you, before you book anything, can save you more than the cost of your report.

For now Solo Fertility 40s researches UK clinics only. If you're also looking abroad, add the countries in the form and we'll let you know when they're covered.

How it works

  1. Fill in the form below. It takes about 10 minutes, so have any test results to hand.

  2. Solo Fertility 40s confirms your report by email within one working day, with a secure payment link and when to expect it.

  3. Your report arrives by email, ready to take into your consultations.

Independent. No clinic pays to appear in a report, or to be left out of one. AI tools gather the data, and Sarah checks every report before it reaches you. This is research to help you choose and question clinics; it isn't medical advice.

How your information is handled

  • Where it's stored: your form answers are collected and stored by Tally, a form provider that keeps data in the EU.
  • What it's used for: only to research clinics for you and prepare your report. It's never shared with fertility clinics and never used for marketing.
  • Your health information (test results, conditions, previous treatment) is used only with your explicit consent, which you give on the form. You can withdraw it at any time.
  • Research is done with the help of Claude, an AI tool made by Anthropic. Your name and contact details aren't used in the research, Claude's setting that allows conversations to be used for training is switched off, and each research conversation is deleted once your report is sent.
  • Payment is handled by Stripe, which never receives your health information.
  • How long it's kept: 12 months after your report is sent, so you can come back for a follow-up, then it's deleted. Payment records are kept for six years because UK tax law requires it; they contain no health information.
  • Your rights: you can ask to see, correct or delete your information at any time by emailing hello@solofertility40s.com.

About me

I'm Sarah. At 43, with very low AMH, I went through two IVF cycles abroad without the research these reports give you. I did very little research because I got my low AMH test and panicked. Then my first clinic rushed me into treatment. A report like this would have slowed me down enough to think more clearly about where I invested five figures. In the end, both IVF clinics advised me to use donor eggs. I optimised my health for 8 months and then conceived with a known donor. I was almost 44.

I built this so you can check a clinic before you spend. I'm independent: no clinic pays me, and no clinic has any say in what a report says. More about me.
